Hey there! Nice to meet you
Background
I am Ifeoma (pronunciation – E-For-Ma) Akabogu, a self-motivated User Experience (UX) Designer and Researcher based in Ontario, Canada. My love for design began in childhood, where I developed an obsession for observing details in images and advertisements that others overlooked. Despite this affinity for aesthetics, I studied public administration at the University and pursued work roles in administration and tech support after graduation.
My design career started when I transitioned into website design as a freelancer, focusing mainly on business requirements and not giving major attention to the needs of end-users. However, all that changed after a deep dive into User Experience (UX) which helped open my eyes to the importance of user-centric design. Today, I thrive on crafting digital products grounded in research, design thinking, and user needs.
As a lifelong learner, I continuously enhance my skills through reputable online courses, and the joy of improving user experiences propels my passion for UX design moving forward.
Outside of work, you can find me immersed in Hollywood movies, singing along to music that resonates with me, and dreaming of exploring diverse countries of our world.
I am currently available to UX Design, UX Research, Graphics, Digital Marketing and Product Design roles.
